There is nothing severe about >1% hemophilia, unless you let it. Here is proof of the superbleeder in action. Drinking on the second floor with out a helmet. Running with slow people and hiking in a very public place. Danger...not really. Life, absolutly.
I suppose I should add something to this event as it marks an epic moment in my journey of life. I have had a very full life of many different things and activities, but sharing them seems more prolific in the simple act of making it known. I have met individuals with absolutely horrible physical disabilities and have seen these people overcome those atrocities with vigor and resolution that would make most people turn off tv and go back to school. It has not had that effect on me obviously as I am a CNA in an SNF, more than leaving myself open to suggestion. I have been very fortunate to receive an education in ignorance. Today I rode over to a scuba shop to hang with some friends and talk myself quickly out of an artificial death under water, then motorcycle my way over to the Harley Davidson shop to look at overpriced bikes with over rated equity. I love what I do and the people in my life, while I may sound exasperated, my life is ideal and I wouldn't change much. I will let you know the super in my super bleeder standard at a later date. I am training for many different physical acts that a severe hemophiliac should not probably take part in, but with proper diet, exercise and sleep. I see know reason that I would not be as successful as any other individual. (oh, and Factor VIII)
